Dear friends, It is with immense pleasure that we announce that the 9th annual conference of the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS) will take place in Dubai on 2, 3 and 4 February 2024. Pursuing our ongoing commitment towards scientific collaboration and improvement of neurosurgical practice, in the true spirit that characterizes UAE, we are extremely proud to announce that this year 3 well established societies will support the meeting (the Neurological Society of India, the Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons and the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society), as well as a recently founded Neurosurgical association (The Maldivian Neurosurgeons Association)

In addition to the delegates of these societies, we have the privilege to welcome a distinguished group of keynote speakers that are internationally well known for their expertise.

This year, two preconference courses will precede our annual congress.

“Future Perspectives in Neurosurgery” will be the conference theme this year, offering the opportunity for an update on every neurosurgical subspecialty.

Dear colleagues, It is with enormous pride that I announce that the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS) will host its 9th annual conference in Dubai in the incoming February 2024. From its birth in 2013, the ESNS has always been extremely committed to collaborate and network with other societies.

The Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons had already collaborated with prestigious international neurosurgical societies in the past. This year, I am extremely happy to see that our international network further reaches out; the conference will be supported by 3 major societies (the Neurological Society of India, the Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons and the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society), as well as a recently founded Neurosurgical association (The Maldivian Neurosurgeons Association). once again, the Emirates Society of Neurosurgery is particularly proud to promote education in low- and middle-income countries and is committed to support young neurosurgeons from resource constraint countries in the area.

Our conferences have always offered a comprehensive learning experience and we have no doubts that this year the same spirit that animated the past scientific events will be maintained.

The theme of this year’s conference will be ” Future perspectives in Neurosurgery” which will offer us a comprehensive update on each subspecialty of our discipline.

Two pre-conference courses will precede the congress, one on pediatric neurosurgery and one on peripheral nerve surgery

The benchmark of our city is the high standard of hospitality, and we are sure that this aspect will contribute to make Your visit to Dubai unforgettable.

Greetings from NSI

It is indeed my pleasure to note that year 2024 is going to witness 9th Emirates International Conference in February at Dubai.

It is also hearting that NSI is going to be collaborative society and will be part of amalgamation of two great civilisations.

As President of  Neurological Society of India ( NSI) , I am very sure that delegates from India shall participate in great numbers to consolidate everlasting friendship  between Emirates Society of Neurological surgeons  and NSI.

I am also sure that with this endeavour, our relationship will further consolidate in enriching knowledge of neuroscience and building platforms to offer better health care service to our patients.

As President, I envisage that we would create and built even more avenues of exchange of knowledge and technology so that we make best use of our ever-lasting friendships.

On behalf of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society (SeENS) it is my great pleasure and honor to invite You to the 9th Annual conference of the Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons that  will take place at Dubai, UAE on February 2-4th 2024. The annual conference will also have support of Maldivian Neurosurgeons association, Neurological Society of  India, Pakistani Society of Neurosurgery and Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society.

The Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society (SeENS, www.seens.eu) has been founded in 2012. Currently SeENS is gathering neurosurgeons from 13 countries of the Southeast Europe region and Turkey. In a 11 years period  (2012-2023) SeENS has become an affiliated member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) and full member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS).

Rapid development of Neurosurgery, emergence of new technologies, modern neuroimaging techniques and improved methods of diagnostics have urged the need to organize such an event. 

Concerning the attractiveness of Neurosurgery the list of the invited speakers at this Annual Conference is impressive and include the EuroAsian and World’s leading experts in the field of Neurosurgery.

It is my great honor to invite You to participate at this Annual conference and to experience and share noteworthy scientific and social moments in Dubai.

The Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS) was founded in 2013 as a subspecialty of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA).

The purpose of the Society is the study and advancement of Neurosurgery. This is achieved through the scientific meetings of the Society, through fostering professional relationships amongst neurosurgeons and through engagement with the public and entities involved in the provision of care to patients requiring Neurosurgery.

ESNS promotes safe and effective Neurosurgical treatment for patients throughout the United Arab Emirates. The society continuously aims to collect, collate and disseminate knowledge and innovations concerning the educational, research and service provision aspects of the neurosurgical practice by encouraging and supporting the development of academic organizations of neurosurgeons and representing the UAE in the regional and international meetings and forums.
