How to Apply for a UAE Visa

If your nationality is not listed above, you will need to apply for a UAE entry visa before travelling. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth process.

Check Your Eligibility
Visit the official UAE Government portal at u.ae or contact your nearest UAE Embassy to confirm visa requirements for your nationality.

Prepare Your Documents
Typically required: valid passport (6+ months validity), passport-size photograph, proof of accommodation, return flight booking, and conference registration confirmation.

Submit Your Application
Apply through your nearest UAE Embassy, a registered travel agent, or the UAE's official online visa portal. Some nationalities may apply on arrival at select UAE embassies.

Allow Processing Time
Standard processing typically takes 3-5 working days. Apply well in advance of the conference - we recommend no later than 4 weeks before 17 October 2026.
Need a letter of invitation? Delegates requiring an official letter of invitation for their visa application can request one from the EINSC 2026 Secretariat after completing conference registration. Contact us at info@einsc.com with your registration details.
Getting to Dubai

Planning Your Journey

Dubai is one of the world's best-connected cities. Whether you are travelling from the Middle East, Europe, Asia or the Americas, you are likely just one direct flight away.

Arriving by Air
Airport Dubai International Airport (DXB) - one of the world's busiest hubs, with direct connections to over 240 destinations.
Terminal Most international flights arrive at Terminal 1 or 3. Check with your airline ahead of travel.
To Venue Raffles Dubai (Wafi) is approximately 15-20 minutes by taxi from DXB, depending on traffic.
Metro The Dubai Metro Red Line connects the airport to the city. Healthcare City station is a short taxi ride to Raffles.
Getting Around Dubai
Taxi Dubai taxis are metered, readily available, and inexpensive. Ride-hailing apps (Careem, Uber) also operate widely.
Metro The Red and Green Metro lines cover key areas of the city. Clean, air-conditioned, and affordable.
Hotel Shuttle Delegates staying at Raffles Dubai have direct in-house access to all conference facilities with no transfer required.
Climate October in Dubai is warm (26-34°C). Air conditioning is universal indoors. Light, breathable clothing is recommended.
Before You Travel

Important Reminders

Passport Validity
Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Some nationalities require a minimum of 6 months validity on entry to the UAE.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and travel disruption for the duration of your trip.
Registration Confirmation
Keep your EINSC 2026 registration confirmation accessible - it may be requested at immigration and is required if applying for a letter of invitation.
Apply Early
If a visa is required, apply as early as possible. We recommend submitting your application at least 4 weeks before the conference to allow for processing delays.
Accommodation
