Abstract Submission

Online submissions open for the 10th Emirates International Neurosurgical Conference — 16–18 October 2026, Hotel Raffles Dubai.

We are officially inviting researchers, clinicians, and students to contribute to the 10th ESNS scientific legacy. This is your opportunity to present your original research before an international faculty and a diverse regional audience. We particularly encourage Resident Research and Case Studies that align with our focus on surgical foundations. Selected abstracts will be featured in oral presentations and digital poster galleries, providing a premier platform for your work to be recognised.

Submission Guidelines

The Emirates Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS) is proud to announce the 10th Emirates International Neurosurgical Conference. The Scientific Committee invites individuals to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

Submissions are accepted for both original research and case reports. The conference particularly encourages contributions from residents and early-career clinicians.

Abstracts must contain original scientific data collected by the author(s). All reports must be based on work that has already been completed.

  • All submitted research must be original scientific data collected by the author(s)
  • Studies "in progress" will not be accepted — work must already be completed
  • Any established research design or methodology may be used

Language: All abstracts must be written in English. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to edit abstracts where the English structure makes comprehension difficult.

  • All abstracts must be submitted via the abstract portal on the website — no email submissions accepted
  • Maximum 400 words
  • Include the title of the abstract
  • Include names and full contact details of all author(s): organisation, city/country, email, phone, fax, and mailing address
  • Provide a 50-word biography of the presenting author with your abstract
  • Include ethical approval and funding acknowledgements where relevant
You will be notified of receipt of your abstract by email. If you do not receive a confirmation within a few hours of submission, contact info@einsc.com

No citations are allowed in the abstract.

Once your abstract is accepted as an oral or poster presentation, the secretariat will contact you directly with further information and detailed instructions.

  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final decision on abstract acceptance and scheduling, based on topics and time constraints
  • The language of the conference is English
  • Each abstract must indicate if the material was previously published, presented at another conference, or received any awards
  • All presenters must be registered delegates of the congress
  • Each abstract may have only one designated presenting author
  • A certificate of appreciation will be presented to all speakers to acknowledge their contribution
  • Presenters must not use the session as a marketing opportunity for products or equipment
  • The conference does not provide travel grants — all registration and travel expenses must be covered by the abstract presenter

Evaluation

Selection Criteria

All abstracts are evaluated through a blind peer-review process and scored against the following criteria by the Scientific Committee.

Relevance

Relevance to the congress topics and the broader field of neurosurgery and neurological sciences.

Scientific Merit

Scientific quality of the research, including methodological rigour and its contemporary contribution to neurosurgical knowledge.

Quality & Clarity

Overall quality, clarity, and completeness of the abstract — including structure, language, and completeness of reported data.
